As the year comes to a close, we’ve taken some time to reflect on the highlights of our work at Flourish and the amazing content you, our users, have produced over the last 12 months. Here are some of them but make sure to read our blog post to see them all.
Winter: Flourish x Canva
Winter was all about “the announcement” – our acquisition by Canva! We were thrilled to bring our interactive visualizations to Canva’s platform, and the reactions were amazing. It’s been a blast working closely with the Canva team to find new ways to combine our two tools and create truly magical results.
Spring: Sports and collaboration
2022 was a fantastic year for sports enthusiasts, with the Winter Olympics, Wimbledon and the FIFA World Cup providing plenty of excitement. To celebrate, we launched a new Tournament template so everyone can visualize their own favorite sports tournament.
Summer: A new office and a timeline template
This summer, we moved into our new UK campus and launched our experts network. We also worked with some of our customers to showcase their use of Flourish, and introduced our new Timeline template. It was the perfect tool to visualize the Queen’s most important moments before her platinum jubilee.
Autumn: Maps madness
Come autumn, we launched an update to our Projection Map template that split the GeoJSON regions of our maps into a separate sheet within the Data tab, making it easier to import your own data. We also rolled out the new arrow map mode just in time for the US midterms and the Brazil presidential elections. Plus, you can now plot lines on your 3D Maps, making it possible to map everything from railways to running routes.
